Westernplows PRO PLOW® SERIES 2 Plow Blade Construction

The rugged moldboard is 29″ tall and comes in 11-gauge powder coated steel in 7′ 6″, 8′, and 8′ 6″ widths. It is also available in 3/8″ high-density polyethylene* in 7′ 6″ and 8′ widths.

The durable poly blade provides a slick surface for enhanced snow-rolling action and a maintenance-free surface. A 60-degree attack angle delivers balanced, clean-scraping performance, and a high carbon steel cutting edge comes standard to reduce wear and extend the life of the blade.

Westernplows PRO PLOW® SERIES 2 Structural Reinforcement

Seven vertical ribs provide structural reinforcement for exceptional torsional strength and rigidity to eliminate blade twisting.

The high-strength steel base channel provides extra support along the bottom of the plow blade.

The 1″ diameter pivot bolt secures the plow in place, ensuring proper alignment and reducing stress on the overall plow assembly.

Westernplows PRO PLOW® SERIES 2 RELIABLE HYDRAULICS

Four heavy-duty coil springs protect your plow and truck by allowing the whole blade to trip when striking obstacles.

The shock absorber reduces jarring and softens the blade return when tripping occurs, to extend the life of your truck and plow.

Protect your plow and the road, while extending the life of your cutting edge with an adjustable shoe kit. The cast iron construction and shape increases the surface contact area and helps glide over gravel and dirt at the correct height. The exclusive WESTERN® SECURITY GUARD™ snow plow anti-theft system is a safe and secure way to electronically lock your snow plow when it is detached from your truck. Unlike physical locks that can easily be cut or removed, the system provides a deterrent against theft by allowing you to electronically lock the snow plow's hydraulic functions, rendering your plow inoperable to unauthorized users.

Westernplows PRO PLOW® SERIES 2 ULTRAFINISH™ BAKED-ON POWDER COAT

The ULTRAFINISH™ baked on powder coat with epoxy primer is standard on all WESTERN® plows, providing outstanding protection against wear and rust. Each WESTERN plow goes through an automated eight-wheel shot blaster pre-treatment process and multi-stage pre-wash to prepare the plow surface for optimum coating adhesion.

After that a durable epoxy primer is applied to improve corrosion resistance and enhance powder coat adhesion. The powder coat is then applied with robotic guns that ensure precise, consistent powder coat coverage. The final baking process seals the long-lasting hard-as-nails WESTERN red coat. The result is a state-of-the-industry finish that will provide superior protection for your plow, season after season.

Westernplows PRO PLOW® SERIES 2 Pre-Punched Blades for Accessories

The blade is pre-punched for easy installation of accessories, providing a custom fit. The pre-punched holes also prevent damage to the powder coat that can sometimes occur when installing an accessory.

Ensure a clean scrape every time, when you back drag. The WESTERN back drag edge is built to be as rugged and durable as every other component of your plow. Constructed of 0.25″ abrasion-resistant steel and angled to maximize back dragging performance. This easy to install back drag edge is a key tool in any snowfighter’s kit.

Westernplows PRO PLOW® SERIES 2 CONVERSION KIT

This easy-to-use conversion kit allows you to attach a UniMount® plow to a vehicle equipped with an UltraMount® system vehicle mount. This kit is perfect if you have multiple snow plows, providing your fleet with versatility. It is also ideal when transferring an old UniMount plow to a late model vehicle.

Designed for use with all Standard, PRO, and 8′ 6″ MVP® UniMount plows. Not compatible with Sport Utility or Heavyweight models.

Westernplows PRO PLOW® SERIES 2 CURB GUARD - SINGLE

Protect the outer edge of your plow with these simple-to-install curb guards, made out of cast iron for ultimate wear-resistance. The rounded profile also helps to reduce damage to curbing and the blade.
